HOW TO PLAN A WEDDING - OUR TIPS TO STAYING ORGANISED

So here is the thing. You are about to do something you have never done before. You are going to plan an event that will get anything from 8 to 20 providers - 100+ your closest and dearest presence, oh and devote about 250 hours doing this in the course of 6 - 18 months.


You will have household politics to contend with. You will become momentarily obsessed by something that right now you most likely do not know is different. Your thumb will hurt from scrolling though Pinterest at 1 am. You are about to enter what's reported to be probably the most stressful things you will ever do BUT will necessarily wind from the BEST day of your life. Ahhhh. Crazy right?


We love weddings and we love assisting our couples. Not everybody hires a wedding coordinator and we get that. But we want to assist those of you that choose to utilize an on the afternoon coordinator or perhaps those brave souls who move it fully alone.


Here Are Our Top Tips To Keep Ahead Of The Game.


1. Open a marriage e-mail address that you both have access to. Use this e-mail address as your principal point of contact for many vendors so your quotations and discussions are in one place.


2. Document everything - Document all the quotations, invoices, receipts agreements, info packs, song lists, product lists, price lists, etc. As they're delivered in folders so that you may readily check back and find things which you will likely forget you had been sent in the first place.

In case you have a family who wishes to help give them tasks as well. Something such as finding a cake manufacturer or getting quotations can be a nice simple job to devote to a family member and takes a while off your list.


7. Set up an Inso folder on your Instagram account and store images in here that you enjoy so you may look back and find things easily.
